Overview
NMAT by GMAC is a national-level management entrance examination for admission into MBA/ PGDM courses offered by NMIMS and other top institutes accepting NMAT exam scores. Earlier conducted by NMIMS, NMAT exam is now being conducted by Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) since 2015. Around 37+ B-schools in India and 10+ colleges located outside India accept NMAT scores and candidates can choose 5 colleges for admission during the registration process.

The eligibility criteria to apply for NMAT are set by GMAC. Candidates please check the eligibility criteria before applying for the test and it also varies institute wise.
- Qualifications - The candidates must be a graduate with minimum 50% marks in any stream.
- Age - There is no limit on the age to fill NMAT registration form.
- Maximum Attempts - Candidates can attempt the NMAT exam three times.

How to Fill NMAT 2023 Application Form?
Step 1: Visit the Website (Register/Signup)
Step 2: Fill the General Information (Enter the personal details:- Name, Date of Birth, Examination Category, Gender, Father's name, Mother's name, Address and Religion) and press the 'Register' button.
Step 3: After new user registration, candidates will receive their user ID and password on the registered email ID and phone number
Step 4: Log in again with the account credentials to fill NMAT Application form.

Retake option for the NMAT exam is available in the candidate's existing registration account after the first attempt. The option to retake the test is present in the 'Retake' tab in the dashboard of the candidate’ account. Candidates have to wait 15 days before retaking the NMAT exam again. It is subject to payment of the application fee. Candidates can retake the NMAT exam twice during the 74-day test window.
