The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will notify eligible candidates based on their CET score when beginning the recruitment process for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts. The commission has the discretion to choose whether to hire based on CET score or by administering an additional test. Recruitment for Group D positions will be based solely on the CET score, while Group C positions will require an additional test.
The Commission will call five times the total number of available positions and three times the number of eligible candidates for positions with fewer than 50 vacancies. For positions with more than 50 vacancies, candidates will be selected based on their CET score/percentile by category. If multiple candidates meet the cutoff, they will all be contacted.
In both Group C and Group D posts, candidates can earn a maximum of five additional points for social, economic, and experiential factors. These points will be directly added to their CET score.
The Haryana CET 2023 exam has a written test that is divided into six sections. It is a multiple-choice exam that consists of 100 questions, and each question is worth 0.95 marks. Thus, the total score for the written test is 95. Although there is no negative marking, if a candidate leaves a question blank, 0.95 marks will be deducted. In case a candidate is not attempting a question, they are required to fill in the fifth option.
