Admission to the MBA program is done by UPSEE, which is administered by AKTU, with second priority given to national management aptitude examinations such as CAT/MAT/CMAT.
Candidates who have finished their degree in any stream with a minimum score of 50% are eligible to apply for this course.
AKTU fills 50% of the seats through counselling based on candidates' UPSEE scores.
The remaining 50% of seats are filled through the institute's entrance test for minority community students.
Non-minority candidates may also take the exam and be admitted if seats in the minority community remain unfilled.
Merit cum implies that meritorious minority students and those from low-income families receive scholarships in accordance with the government's standards.
