College Of Veterinary And Animal Sciences - [RAJUVAS], Udaipur College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Navania, Vallabhnagar was laid out in 2007 as a constituent College of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur (MPUAT) to take care of the requirements of Animal Husbandry exercises of Southern Rajasthan. It is the second constituent Veterinary College of the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner which is arranged in the southern area of Mewar in Udaipur region. It is approved by NCTE.
The establishment stone of this school was laid by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Vasundhara Raje Scindia, on fifteenth April 2007. On this promising event, Dr. S. L. Mehta (Former V. C., MPUAT), Sh. Randhir Singh Bhinder (M.L.A. Vallabhnagar) and Dr. R. K. Nagda (Dean) were additionally present. This school was enrolled under enlistment No.P.14(18) Edu.- 4/2007 dated 28.5.2007 and the principal cluster of B.V.Sc. &A.H. was begun on tenth September 2007. The two-year Animal Husbandry Diploma Program has likewise been begun at the College from the scholarly year 2010-11 on self-finance premise.
