Established in 2004, Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) is founded by Padma Shri awardee Dr. Bala V Balachandran, Professor Emeritus of Accounting Information & Management at the Kellogg School of Management. Currently, it has two campuses in Chennai and Gurgaon. The institute offers full-time programs in management, namely PGDM, PGPM, PGXPM, PGPM Flex, etc. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has also received accreditation by the AMBA (Association of MBAs), UK, SAARC recognized SAQS; and NBA for its varied postgraduate programs. The institute is also associated with the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC), HKUST Business School, University De Bordeaux, BAUER College of Business, University of Houston, BABSON and IIT Stuart School of Business.
