The Bundelkhand University, Institute of Management Studies, Jhansi is recognised to be a State Govt. affiliated University and more of an autonomous institution but the courses taught here are self-financed. It is approved by the AICTE and is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh State University. The university is known for its contribution in numerous UG and PG courses. This college is aimed at providing the best quality of education to its students in the fields of various management degrees (MBA, BBA) and accordingly relating them with different industrial approaches. The University is currently under the charge of 40 certified institutions. Apart from professional courses, the university also contributes through various vocational and research programmes.

The total campus area consists of 186 acres of land. It is built at a distance of 11 km from the Jhansi Railway Station and approximately 14 km from the Jhansi Airport. Both the distance seems to be quite feasible for students who are outside of Jhansi, and are in need of availing it.

Apart from the above facilities, the college also boasts on an eco-friendly campus which consists of some useful amenities, and is more than enough to meet a student’s basic requirements. It consists of an anti-ragging cell, which is quite efficient in coordinating with students, a library which is stocked with a large number of books, journals and magazines of all kinds. A wi-fi enabled campus with a biometric based identification, computer labs that is installed with the latest software along with smart classrooms which supports digital learning as well. Hostel facilities are also available with AC and non-AC rooms. Students can choose one or the other as per his/her requirements.
