Description
The Jeppiaar Institute of Technology was established in 2011 under the auspices of the Jeppiaar Educational Trust and is located in Sriperumbudur, Chennai. It is a Christian Minority college affiliated with Anna University. It is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides UG programs in the field of Engineering and Technology.
Based on the ‘Academic Performance Analysis’ published by Anna University Exams, the Jeppiaar Institute of Technology ranks 33rd out of 506 collaborative engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The Jeppiaar Institute of Technology has CAI (Computer Aided Instruction) that has enabled classrooms with LCD projectors for wall mount multimedia and currently, the institute offers a B.E. program with five features. It was the first center in India to establish a laboratory for 'Innovative Cloud Computing Technology'.
