Description
North Orissa University - [NOU], Baripada is a private run college which was established in 1998. It is situated at Baripada, Orissa . This college is approved by UGC and NAAC Gradee B. It also affiliated by State University.
There are lots of facilities like Classrooms, libraries, auditoriums, a sports facility, transportation, conference rooms, and a gender-segregated hostel are all air-conditioned. North Orissa University (NOU) is an open public university established in the year 1998 and is situated in the regional city of Baripada at Orissa. The University is recognized by the UGC, Bar Council of India, and IGNOU New Delhi. The University is also accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore with a B grade. The university has two campuses; the main campus is Baripada offering PG in eight subjects and the Keonjhar campus, offering PG in five subjects. Admissions to some courses are purely merit-based while for others, entrance test along with an interview if applicable are held.

Admission 2023
North Orissa University is inviting applications for admission to the 3 years Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed course. The Late date for applying is October 17 and the date for the entrance examination is October 30. Interested students can apply through the official website of the University and the application fee of INR 500 should be paid through the online gateways. North Orissa University offers Post Graduate regular courses in MA / MSc / MCA and self-financing courses in MBA / MA / MSc / MSW / MLIS / Integrated BEd + MEd at Baripada campus and Post Graduate regular course in MA / MSc at Keonjhar campus. In addition, the University offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in the regular departments.
- Graduate degree holders in respective subjects are eligible to apply for PG courses in MBA / MCA / MA / MSc / MSW / MLIS.
- Post Graduates in relevant disciplines can apply for Integrated BEd + MEd / MPhil / Pre PhD.
- To secure admission in MBA / MCA candidates should qualify OJEE.
