The institution is known to be a private recognised university as Dr. D.N. Mishra as the founder and Mr. Vidya Nidhi Mishra as the Chairman. Nurturing itself beyond the limits, the SVGI, Jhansi aims at providing the best quality of professional and technical guidance in several different fields of education. The governing bodies of this college includes the AKTU, AICTE, PCI, INC, NCVT etc. This college was established on 2002 and along with that, it not only boasts on some 1000 acres green campus, but also holds a legacy and goodwill, of holding 1100 students and a 70 plus truly dedicated faculty. A 24 hours security as well as power backup is available. Along with that, there is a fully enabled campus, a cafeteria and a library stocked with a large number of books and magazines from all genres. The classrooms facilitates both AC and non-AC ones.
The college is built at a distance of 16 km from the Jhansi Railway Station and 17 km from the airport. Both the distances are somewhat quite similar to each other along with a feasible one too.
The main objective of the college seems to have been the same from the day it actually started operating. That is basically to train and shape the young minds in developing technical abilities with a continuous rhythm of integrated information in order to build a clear corporate approach, the one they could use in the future.

Admission 2023
The SVGI, Jhansi supports both offline and online admission procedures. Online form needs to be downloaded from the official college website.
It is carried out on the basis of the Merit Entrance Examination conducted by the State Government. At least 50% marks is required in order to get admitted, whereas it is 45% for the SC and ST communities.
Admissions on B. Pharma and D. Pharma is made on the basis of UPSEE and UP-JEE (P) respectively, both of which are conducted by the UP government.
Admissions on B. Com and B. Ed both requires 50% aggregate marks.
