The Department of Financial Studies (DFS) Delhi was established in 1987 at the University of Delhi. The initial shortlist and waitlist for admission batch 2022-23 were just released by the Department. The CFA University Affiliation Program recognises the department.
A full-time two-year MBA (Financial Management) programme and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree are available at the university. Admission to the institute is dependent on a candidate's CAT score as well as their grades in class X and XII. Female candidates are given preferential treatment. Final selection is based on CAT scores, GD and PI marks, and Class X and Class XII examination marks; and female applicants are given more weightage.
Admission to the doctorate PhD programme is based on DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test) results combined with a Research Proposal and a Principal Investigator (PI). Department of Financial Studies (DFS) Delhi maintains its faculty student ratio as 1:4. The application fee is Rs. 2000/- and a student can apply online.
