What is a CAT Exam?
CAT (Common Admission Test) is an entrance exam at the national level for admission to MBA programs at 20 IIMs & around 1200 B-School in India. The CAT is a computer-based test that is designed to assess participant's aptitude skills in the sections of Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Quantitative Ability (QA). CAT Exam is conducted every year by IIMs on the policy of rotation. Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode conducted this exam last year.

Candidates have to take the examination on the designated day at one of the well-equipped computer laboratories that serve as CAT Exam Centres 2024. In more than 150 cities, almost 400 of these labs conduct the CAT test.

CAT Exam Pattern 2024
The purpose of the CAT exam pattern 2024 is to evaluate a candidate's speed and accuracy in solving mathematics and reasoning tasks. CAT result Calculation 2024
The CAT result 2024 is computed using scaled scores. For every section, the same method of determining percentiles for the CAT result 2024 is used. The likelihood of selection increases with percentile. The CAT 2024 percentile will be computed using the procedure listed below.
Step 1: Determine the total number of applicants who took the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts of the IIM CAT.

Step 4: The percentile score (P) should be rounded off to the nearest whole number, up to two decimal places, for CAT percentile scores. For example, scores less than 99.995 but larger than or equal to 99.995 are rounded to 100.
