NEET PG 2024 is a national level entrance exam for PG medical courses offered by government and private medical colleges in India. The examination is organized by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). It will be held in January 2023. Candidates who have completed MBBS from a recognized university and have completed one year of internship are eligible to appear for the exam. The score of this exam is used for admissions to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered by government and private medical colleges across India.
It is an upcoming entrance examination for PG medical courses in India. This will be a computer-based test (CBT) and will be of 3.5 hours duration. The test will have 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.
The NBE has released the NEET PG 2024 syllabus on its official website. Candidates can start preparing for the exam by going through the syllabus and previous year's question papers. The NEET PG 2024 will consist of 200 questions, every carrying 4 marks for the right answer. The exam is organized by the NBE (National Board of Examinations). The question paper of NEET PG 2024 will contain of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be four choices for each question, out of which only one will be correct. The applicants require to find the correct option and select on their computer screens. For each right answer, 4 marks will be added to the applicant, and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the marks of the applicant.

Applicants will be participating in the NEET PG 2024 counselling round after declaration of the result. The counselling for NEET PG 2024 examination will be organized for admission to various quota seats. The various quotas which will be taken into consideration while allocating seats are as follows:
The NEET PG Registration Forms will be available on the NBE official website, i.e. www.nbe.edu.in. The applicants will need to fill the following information in the NEET PG 2024 Registration Form: name, address, contact numbers, school, marks secured during the Grade 10 & 12 exam, and an MBBS degree from a recognized university/institution. After completely filling all the needed information, applicants will be required to pay the NEET PG 2024 Online Registration Form Fees. After the payment of NEET PG 2024 Registration Form Fees, applicants will get the Admit Card containing the information such as the test center and the test slot allotted to the applicant.
The NEET PG 2024 Admit Card will be released 15 days before the exam. The applicants will be able to download the NEET PG 2024 admit cards till the day of the exam. The applicants will need to paste their passport-size photographs on the printed copy of admit cards.
Applicants must follow the steps to download their NEET PG 2024 admit cards given below:
Step 1: Go to the official NBE website and click on the applicant login for NEET PG 2024.
Step 2: Enter the login details and log in to the applicant profile.
Step 3: Now, click on the "Download Admit Card" button . The NEET PG 2024 Admit Card will appear on your computer screen. The candidates are advised to verify all the information given in the admit card, before downloading and print the Admit Card.
Step 4: After verifying all the information given in the admit card, click on “Download Admit Card”, and then take minimum 2 print-outs of the admit card for the time of exam, counselling and admission references.

The Result will be issued in PDF format, which can be downloaded by logging to the applicant’s portal. The applicants will get marks out of 800, i.e. total marks. To qualify for the NEET PG 2023, applicants must get the minimum cut-off marks in the exam.

The admissions to various private, government, deemed, or state medical colleges are organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the behalf of the NEET PG examination. Only the State Quota Seats are allotted by the State Counselling Authorities of the NEET PG 2024. All the NEET PG 2024 qualified applicants will be allowed to sit in Counselling.
After the allotment of seats, applicants will need to provide an option for an upgrade. The applicants will have to report to the allotted college/university within the given time with the allotment letter.
