JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2023: NTA will issue the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2023 comprise of stipulations that every candidate have to fulfill in order to get admission into colleges accepting NTA JEE scores. It comprise of details like educational qualification, age limit, nationality, marks scored in class 12, compulsory subjects and more. 

Applicants willing to appear for JEE Main exam 2023 will be disqualified, if found that they are not eligible as per the criteria specified.

Previous year, CSAB has re-initiated the 75% qualifying marks in school board exams for NIT and IIT admissions. As per the amended JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria, applicants must need to score minimum 75% marks in the board exams for NIT and IIIT admissions. This exam is organized for admission into the under-graduate (UG) courses offered by the JEE Main participating institutes. JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria for Droppers

  • There is no age limit.
  • He/She must have passed their class 12 exam in 2021 or 2023. Three consecutive attempts are allowed for JEE Main 2023 examination.
  • Students should have secured a minimum JEE Main 2023 qualifying score.
  • Candidates should have taken at least 5 subjects for the class 12 or qualifying exam (Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics mandatory).
