The first step to fill the UPSC IAS 2023 application form is to visit the official website of UPSC, which is www.upsc.gov.in.
On the homepage of the UPSC website, you will find a link for the Civil Services Exam 2023. Click on the link to go to the application form.
Before you start filling the application form, you need to register for the exam. Click on the ‘Registration’ link and provide your basic details like name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. Once you have registered, you will receive a registration ID and password.
Using your registration ID and password, log in to the application form and fill in your personal, educational, and contact details. Make sure you enter all the details correctly as any mistake can lead to rejection of your application.
After filling in your details, you need to upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The photograph should be in color and taken in a white background. The signature should be done on a white paper with a black ink pen.
The last step is to pay the application fee. The fee for the UPSC IAS 2023 exam is Rs. 100 for general category candidates, and there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates. You can pay the fee online through net banking, credit card, or debit card.
Once you have completed all these steps, submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
