Admission Process For Top Law Colleges In Delhi NCR

Admission to Law Colleges is provided through entrance exams such as CLAT. Candidates have to qualify for any one of the national, state and university level exams so as to secure a place in the course of LLB. Some of the colleges also rely on giving admission on the basis of merit-based qualifications.

Universities conduct entrance exams and selection is based on an aggregate of entrance exams. Candidates have to purchase the forms from the college office or download it online, if available. It is necessary to remember the application form number for avoiding any future discrepancies.

Candidates have to make sure they have the following documents with them during the Admission process, as followed:

  1. 10th Class Mark sheet and passing certificate
  2. 12th Class Mark sheet and passing certificate
  3. Graduation Certificate
  4. Character Certificate
  5. Transfer Certificate
  6. Admit Card of the Entrance Exam
  7. Rank Card of Entrance Exam

These documents are necessarily required and students must go through all the guidelines before filling out the form.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

For LLB and LLM admissions, the students have to clear the CLAT exam that is being conducted around the year. Students with 10+2 or any equivalent examination with at least 45% marks ( 40% in case of SC/ST STUDENTS ) can appear in the test. To get admission in various law courses, aspirants need to fulfil the eligibility criteria which are given by the colleges. For admission to UG law courses, candidates need to pass 10th and 12th class examinations or their equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. However, for admission in PG courses, it is necessary to graduate in LLB courses from any recognised institution.
