What is IPU CET?
Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is the full name of the exam. Candidates aspiring for admission to different programs at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University will be accepted either based on their qualifying marks or through the National Level Test, which is administered by the university. IPU CET Registration Fees 2024

IPU CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have graduated from an accredited university or board with a higher secondary education (10+2). The minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates have to be 50%

To apply for BBA in IPU CET candidates can be a citizen of India or outside of India. International applicants must provide pertinent documentation pertaining to their nationality.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel/ Persons with disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks
IPU CET B.C.A. Eligibility Criteria
To ensure they are eligible to appear, candidates can review the IPU CET 2024 eligibility requirements for the BCA program before taking the exam.
The candidate must have earned at least a 50% aggregate in their 10+2 exam or its equivalent.
Candidate must have passed in English.
The candidate must have completed and passed either computer science, informatics practice, computer applications, multimedia and web technology, data management application, or web application.
Candidates who have earned a minimum of 50% of their total points in a three-year engineering diploma from a polytechnic associated with a recognized examination organization and legally accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education are also eligible to apply.
IPU CET BJ (MC) Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for IPU CET BJMC candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:
- The candidate needs to have at least a 50% aggregate in class 12 or an equivalent exam.
- The candidate should have studied and passed English as well in 12th.
- Candidates appearing in 10+2 in 2024 are also eligible to apply.
- Candidate’s age should not exceed 21 years.
IPU CET B.H.M.C.T. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of IPU CET BHMCT 2024 can be checked below. For BHMCT admission, candidates must meet the qualifying requirements in order to appear in the IPU CET 2024.
A minimum aggregate score of 50% marks on a class 12 or comparable exam qualifies the candidate.
Candidates must have passed in English as well in the 10+2.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel/ Persons With Disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks.
* Aggregate of 50% will be calculated as the % in the best of 4 subjects. The best 4 subjects will be mentioned before counseling if necessary.
IPU CET M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Before registering for the exam, candidates must review the IPU CET M.Tech mandated eligibility requirements.
- The IPU CET M.Tech 2024 eligibility criteria is given below:
- Applicants must have earned a minimum of 60% in their B.Tech./B.E. or its equivalent.
- Candidate’s age should not be more than 35 years.
- Candidates who have passed IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE) will also be eligible to apply for M.Tech in IPU CET.
IPU CET B.A. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates appearing for B.A programme from IP University have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria-
- completed the senior secondary exam with a minimum grade of 50%.
- Candidates must have taken English as a required subject in order to be admitted to the B.A. English Hons. program.
- For BA Economics, candidates have to studied Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
IPU CET B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria
The following academic requirements must be noted by candidates applying for B.Sc. programs at IP University in accordance with their qualifying standards. –
Applicants have to have completed their senior secondary examination with a least of 55% marks in aggregate.
For admissions in B.Sc Medical Technology and Radio Technology, candidates must have cleared their senior secondary examination with at least an aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or should have get a diploma in radiotherapy technology after the aforementioned twelfth grade examinations with a least of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates must also have at least 5 years work of experience in Radiotherapy.
IPU CET M.A. Eligibility Criteria
When applying for admission to IP University’s M.A. programs, candidates must review the university’s qualifying requirements, which are listed below.
- A Graduate degree in any discipline with at least aggregate of 50%.
- Candidates must have finished their bachelor’s degree in Economics for admissions in M.A Economics.
IPU CET M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates looking for admission in M.Sc programmes offered by the IP University should check the following eligibility criteria to appear in the entrance examination.
A B.Sc degree with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
For admissions in M.Sc Environment Management, applicants should possess a pass in B.Sc. degree or an equivalent with a least aggregate of 50% or a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical/Agricultural Engg/Civil with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
For admissions in M.Sc Forensic Science program, candidates should have a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Applied Physics/Physics/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/ Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Toxicology/Mathematics/ Biology(Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Physical Anthropology) with at least aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university.
Or B.Sc of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University. In addition to it, candidates must have also studied at least from first year of the three year course any 2 subjects of the following – a) Physics b) Math or Statistics c) Chemistry d) Biology (Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology)
Or a B.Sc. in Forensic Science from a recognized university with at least aggregate of 50% marks.
Or B.Tech. (Civil/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering/Computer Science) from a recognized university with at least an aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2.
For admissions in M.Sc Nursing, applicants should be a registered nurse and midwife or equal with a State Nursing Registration Council.
The candidates must have graduated from an Indian Nursing Council-approved school with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55% in B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc., Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
The person should have a work experience of at least one year after finishing their basic B.Sc. Nursing course. Prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, candidates ought to gather a work experience of at least a year.
