CAT 2022: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will issue the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2022 admit card next week, October 27. Applicants registered for the CAT 2022 exam can download their admit card from the official website– iimcat.ac.in with help of their application number and password. The IIM Bangalore has scheduled to take the CAT Exam on 27th November  in online mode.

Applicants those qualify the CAT 2022 examination will be eligible for admission to various management programmes of Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and other institutions. The next round of admission procedure includes counselling based on cut-off for many IIMs and the preferences made by applicants. Several IIMs control selection tests such as writing ability tests (WAT), personal interviews (PI) and group discussions (GD) for admission.

Steps to Download Admit Card:

  • Go to the CAT official website – iimcat.ac.in.
  • The homepage of this site will appear.
  • Click on the link “Download CAT 2022 Admit Card”  on the homepage.
  • Now, enter your login credentials (User ID & Password) & hit the “Login” button.
  • A  page will appear on the screen displaying the admit card.
  • It will be given in pdf format.
  • Download it in the same format & take a printout.

Admit Card Details:

As per the official schedule, the IIM CAT 2022 admit card will be released on Thursday, October 27. The admit card will include candidate’s information like name, roll number, exam date, center information and exam day instructions. Applicants must have a hard copy of CAT admit card along with a valid photo ID proof at the test center. 

The exam will be held ensuing the strict guidelines given on the hall ticket to which applicants must have to obey. Any variation in admit card details must be informed to the exam controlling authorities within the given time.

Exam Details:

The CAT 2022 exam will be taken online in computer based test (CBT) mode. The CAT 2022 question paper will have three sections– Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DI and LR) and Quantitative Ability (QA).

The timing of the exam will be given on the admit card of the applicant. CAT question paper instructions will be shown on the screen of the computer before the beginning of the exam. Applicants should thoroughly read the exam directions before attempting the question paper.
