CUET UG 2024 Exam Dates Remain Unchanged Despite Elections
Attention all future undergraduates! The UGC – University Grants Commission – has informed that the date of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 will not be changed from its initial schedule, which is between May 15th and May 31st, 2024. It is the latest after the source of concern was earlier a possible clash with ongoing Lok Sabha general elections.
Earlier a month ago, the Chairman of the UGC , Jagadesh Kumar, had expressed a possibility of shifting the exam dates due to the general elections. Moreover, an update now released makes it clear that the CUET UG 2024 will still be held. This will be a great relief as students had been sitting on the edge waiting for the schedule confirmation and can now concentrate entirely on their studies instead of waiting for the change of dates.
The official CUET UG 2024 datesheet will be published once the application window after March 26th, 2024 becomes closed. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is responsible for the coordination of the CUET, will finalize the testing schedule taking into consideration the number of students and their locations. The area for the examination will be selected in such a manner that students won’t be indulged in electoral campaigning.
