Apply JEE Main 2023: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2023) registration process will start in November. The JEE Main 2022 registration will begin from third week of November, the engineering intake will be held in January and April, as per the Times of India report. The applicants can register for JEE Main 2023 on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. Last year, JEE Main was held in two sessions- session one from June 23 to 29 and session two from July 25 to 30.

As per the report, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 registration process will start from February, the exam is organized to be supervised in the third week of April.

From earlier reports suggested that CUET will be held three times a year, but the fresh reports hinted to be held once annually. The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan earlier hinted that there is no plan to merge NEET, JEE and CUET.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG 2023) registration will start in March, the applicants can apply from official website- neet.nta.nic.in. NEET UG is still the single largest gateway in India with nearly 18 lakh registrations this year.

CUET has become the 2nd largest national level entrance exam after the JEE Main 2023.

The ministry official revealed that as per information received from NTA, more universities and higher education institutions (HEIs) are going to take part in the CUET-UG for their UG admissions, which comprise State and private universities.


“This year around 90 universities, most of which are central universities, participated in the common entrance. Many new universities have speak to NTA and the number of participating universities are possibly to go beyond 120,” as per the official.


Technical glitches in the CUET-UG 2022 caused problems to applicants and parents. Exams in some centers had to be cancelled and in some centers it begin late. Beside, some applicants missed out on courses and institutions due to inexact subject mapping exercises. Also in some cases take part universities hold up announcing their counselling planed.
