NEET UG 2024 registration deadline extended: Check how to apply, fees and other details

The National Testing Agency has extended the deadline for NEET UG 2024 applications until March 16, 2024.
On the NTA’s official website, neet.ntaonline.in, candidates can fill out the NEET 2024 application.
The deadline to pay the NEET application fee is March 16 at 11:50 p.m. This page provides a direct access to the NEET application form for 2024.

The deadline for submitting NEET application forms for 2024 has been extended.
The NTA has extended the deadline for accepting NEET 2024 application forms. The revised deadline for the NEET application form 2024 process is March 16, 2024.
Candidates can pay the NEET application fee for 2024 until 11.50 p.m. on the specified date. Check the table below for the NEET 2024 registration deadline.

NEET 2024 application form deadline
According to the amended NEET 2024 information bulletin, the application deadline is March 16.
The deadline to pay the NEET UG 2024 application form fee is March 16, which must be done by 11:50 PM.
The deadline for submitting the NEET application form 2024, which was earlier March 9, has been extended.

Step 1: NEET Registration 2024
To complete the NEET application form 2024, aspirants must click on ‘Complete application form’. To register for NTA NEET 2024, visit the new page and click on the ‘NTA NEET registration 2024 link’. Follow the instructions carefully.During the NEET-UG registration process, aspirants must fill out the following information.
A password must also be created according to the parameters provided, and it will be used for any future logins. After registering for the NEET NTA 2024, you will receive a NEET application number.
This will be the user ID used to log in and fill out the NEET 2024 application form.

Step 2: Fill up the NEET application form 2024.
Once the registration process is done, candidates must click on ‘Complete Application Form’, as seen in the image below.Aspirants will need to enter their provisional registration number and password.Filling up the remaining details on the NEET 2024 application form is required.Other details to fill in the NEET online application form 2024 are as follows:

Step 3: Upload scanned papers and photographs.
After filling up the NEET form 2024, aspirants must upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature as prescribed.Candidates must click on ‘upload documents’. The documents to upload are listed below.

Passport photograph: It must be passport-size and have a white backdrop with the candidate’s name and the date of the photograph underneath. The file size in JPEG format might range from 10 to 200 kb.
Signature: This must be done with a black ink pen on white paper and scanned to a file in JPG format ranging in size from 4 to 30 KB.Left-hand thumb impression: Candidates must upload a digital image of their left-hand thumb impression on white paper with blue ink in JPG format, sized between 10 kb and 200 kb.Aside from the passport-size photo, candidates must upload postcard-sized photographs in JPG format ranging in size from 10 kb to 200 kb.

Step 4: Pay the NEET application cost.
After submitting the documents according to the guidelines, the option to pay the NEET application fee 2024 will come on screen. Click on ‘Pay Examination Fee’.The application cost for NEET UG 2024 can only be paid online. The application costs for NEET 2024 vary by category, including general, OBC/ST/SC, and EWS.Candidates can pay the NEET 2024 application cost online using State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, or Paytm.Candidates must confirm that the credit or debit card they use for payment is still valid.

Step 5: Print the NEET acknowledgement receipt.
After paying the application money, you will receive a NEET confirmation page pdf or acknowledgement receipt.
This indicates that the application for NEET 2024 has been successfully submitted.
A copy of the NEET acknowledgement or confirmation page will also be provided to the candidates’ registered email addresses and mobile numbers.Candidates are recommended to keep the acknowledgement receipt for future reference. They are also recommended to print the document for future reference.
